The Island is home to an extraordinary array of wildlife and is great for clam digging and oyster picking. Guests may even be able to catch sight of dolphins around the coastline. If guests feel the need to escape the island, the nearest major city is Tacoma, which is home to museums, restaurants, shops, golf courses, parks, nightlife, and endless opportunities for outdoor sports.

Being a private island there are no stores on the island so guests will need to bring their groceries with them from the mainland.
Being a private island the only way to get on/off the island is via ferry which is capable of carrying up to a dozen cars at a time. To get on the ferry guests will need a guest pass which will be organized for them and ferry fees are $20 for a car and driver and three dollars per passenger. If guests leave the island for a day trip they will need another ferry pass to return and are required to pay ferry fees again. Read More
