Touchet

Touchet is a small community located in the heart of Walla Walla County, Washington. The Walla Walla River flows very nearby, with Lake Wallula connecting to it in the west. It’s also just a stone’s throw from the Oregon state line. Take a 20-minute drive east to the city of Walla Walla, where there are many historic places to discover. Places to stop in at include Fort Walla Walla Museum, Whitman Mission, and Kirkman House Museum. The area surrounding Walla Walla is also full of wineries and vineyards, many of which offer tastings and tours. Top wineries to visit include Amavi Cellars, Basel Cellars Estate Winery, and Northstar Winery. It may be necessary to book a tour in advance, so be sure to check before you visit!
