Edgemont lies on the shores of the famous Greers Ferry Lake, and it is home to some of the most sublime views in the entire state. Yet, it isn’t just known for such views. In fact, it also lies close to some other amazing attractions which keep visitors coming back year after year, and which offer a huge range of outdoor activities for you to participate in. Make the walk to the lake, where you can see people fishing, boating, and even canoeing on its sparkling waters. Though this is most popular in summer, you can still enjoy all it has to offer throughout the year. Across the lake, Devils Fork Recreation Area has some light trails you can follow, but if you really want to get your heart racing, then you should follow the Sugar Loaf Mountain National Trail.
