The wood-paneled cabin sleeps nine guests in its three bedrooms with one room boasting a king-size bed, the second features a full-size bed while the third room comes with two sets of bunk beds that include a full-size lower bed and a twin-size upper bed. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with bright colors and local artwork providing a homey environment while maintaining the rustic charm of a mountain cabin. The two bathrooms each offer spacious walk-in showers, hand basins, and toilets while fresh towels and basic toiletries are provided by the hosts.
The natural rock fireplace at the living area’s center keeps the cottage warm all year round and guests will love sitting back in the plush sofas while listening to the crackle of the fire. The dining table sits beside the floor-to-ceiling windows allowing guests to enjoy home-cooked meals in front of river and forest views while the kitchen comes fully equipped with a retro stove, oven, and microwave.

Visitors come from far and wide to hike along the scenic trails of the Ozark Mountains where hikers pass waterfalls, rivers, lakes, and stunning mountain views. The trails are also popular horseback riding and mountain biking routes and guests can book tours and equipment from several establishments in Heber Springs. With a large river stocked with an array of trout and bass right in front of the cottage, guests can try and catch the evening’s main course or try their hand at walk-in fishing at Cow Shoals and Swinging Bridge. There are four golf courses in the area should guests wish to play a round or two during their stay and the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View offers live music, crafts workshops, and herb gardens where guests can learn about the history of the human use of plants.
