The Ozark Highlands Trail passes through some of the most remote and scenic parts of the Ozark Mountains, such as the Hurricane Creek Wilderness Area. Making for some great hiking, it leads right to the Ozark National Forest, which covers 1.2 million acres.

The forest also offers swimming, fishing, and boating, as well as great picnic sites, with opportunities for plenty of wildlife viewing and photography opportunities, too. A bit further afield, guests can find all sorts of entertainment in Fayetteville, such as theater performances at TheatreSquared, the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, the Arkansas Air Museum, and plenty of bars and clubs. The Northwest Arkansas Mall is a great place for a day of retail therapy, and guests could even watch the game at the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
