Location + Surroundings

This bed and breakfast is located in Berea, Kentucky, one of the fastest growing towns in the state of Kentucky. The town is known around the country for its art festivals and historic restaurants and buildings. To the east is the northern section of the Daniel Boone National Forest, the only national forest that is completely in Kentucky. To the south is the Cumberland River, which flows into Nashville, TN. The closest airport is in Cincinnati, Ohio, about an hour and a half drive to the north.

Just a few miles to the east is the Daniel Boone National Forest, a forest named after the famed explorer of the Appalachian. This forest has plenty of hiking and biking trails and many caves and lakes that are open for exploration. The Red River Gorge is also in this forest and is one of the most visited parts of the area. North, up Route 75, guests will find Lexington, Kentucky, which home to the University of Kentucky and the Hamburg Place, the largest shopping and dining area in central Kentucky.
