Stunning tree house rental near Germantown, KY
This stunning tree house rental is located near the little town of Germantown, Kentucky, and can accommodate up to five guests. There is one main bedroom located on a raised mezzanine level, furnished with a full-size bed. The other bedroom is across the bridge to the second bedroom, called the snuggle palace, that features a bunk bed with a full-sized mattress on the bottom and twin on the top. Guests have a private bathroom facility that includes a toilet, a sink, and a shower at the entry to the property. There is a compost toilet that is a five-second walk outside the tree house.
In the living room, glampers will find a unique layout built around the trunk of the tree and includes a large sofa and propane heater. Here, guests will also find a small bar table, where they will be able to enjoy meals and it is the perfect place to relax on a cool evening. The small kitchenette has a propane stove for cooking, as well as a coffee pot, cooking pots, pans, and utensils for basic catering.
Outside, there is a spacious platform balcony, suspended in the treetops and complete with deck furniture. Glampers will be able to sit back and relax in the four hammock village, enjoying the sounds and smells of the woodland and the beautiful views. There is also a charcoal barbecue and a cozy fire pit for glampers to use.
Included in the stay is private access to 200-acres of themed trails. The heart trail is 3.2 miles and takes guests to different areas of the property to explore, like the cabana pod that sits by a stream, an 1800s abandoned log cabin, the three-person net trillium, and picnic area. The newest trail is Jacob's Ladders named after the hosts' nephew. Visitors are encouraged to bring or make their own chime in memory of a loved one to hang in the trees along the trail. The hobbit trail is fun for the kids and they love finding the 10 hobbit houses. Guests can also sign up for a unique guided tree climb, it is $49 a person for 90 min class.

Glampers will be in for an adventure at this tree house accommodation. There is now electricity, and guests will find the rental has many lights, air, a small heater, and a coffeemaker. There is still cell phone reception, but there is no running water to the tree house. There is a three-gallon tank of water for guests to use inside kitchenette.
Guests have full access to the bathhouse with running water for shower, toilet, and sink. Guests have compost toilet located five-second walk right outside the tree house. This experience is all about swapping a tent for a treetop cabin. Glampers will find a woodburning stove and propane gas stove inside for cooking and to keep the tree house warm, as well as an additional stove outside for al fresco cooking.
Bed linens are provided for the main beds, and underneath the pull-out sofa, there is an optional foam mattress to make the sofa extra comfy.

Glampers should arrive with hiking shoes and comfortable outdoor appropriate clothing. Board games are a great thing to bring along to play around the fire in the evening times. There is a full kitchenette so guests should bring their own food, specifically for grilling on the outdoor barbecue. Wipes, paper towels, and garbage bags are included.
Guests should note that this property is best for those who love wildlife and do not mind critters. The tree house is in the middle of the woods, and guests may encounter mice, wasp, bees, ticks, deer, turkey, flies, ants, and water bugs, as well as hear coyotes and owls, especially out on the trails.
The property use natural deterrents that work to keep critters out of the tree house. Since part of the adventure are the famous barn doors that open to the outside occasionally one may sneak in. It is recommended that the barn doors are not left open when leaving tree house for a hike or overnight, since flying insects love the tree house.
Safety considerations of this tree house. The steps to the second floor is a ship ladder. The hosts recommend guests are in good health and physical condition. The property welcomes children.

This property boasts three tree houses, strategically placed, to give guests privacy but, that are close enough, that they can rent out all three.
What makes the Aliyah unique is that the snuggle palace is 30-feet high and is the tallest tree house. It’s great for families that like to spread out. In the main cabin there is a full-size bed and across the swinging bridge is a bunk bed with a twin and a full-size bed.
The hickory is unique in that it has a play ground, consisting of a slide, a swing, and two hammocks. It has a cozy nook with lots of games. This tree house is best for two adults and four kids that want to be in the same room at bed time.
The Pete is unique and has a wood-burning stove. It has the biggest floor plan with lots of open space with an over sized loft with a king-size bed. Best suited for Pete Nelson tree house lovers and a couple with two small kids.

Glampers will adore being emersed in nature at this getaway. There are wonderful routes for hiking just waiting to be explored and great routes for biking. Those who are brave enough and looking for an adventure should head up to the haunted house located on the grounds. This site also offers fantastic treetop canopy tours and climbing courses. Nature lovers will be in their element at this accommodation and the forest is bursting with wildlife. Lucky glampers might even catch a glimpse of a deer, red-tailed hawks, or wild turkeys while hiking the properties 200 acres of trails!
A favorite of previous guests is visiting the Historical town of Augusta KY, where the childhood home to George Clooney is located, or, visit the small red train with historical information and take a stroll along the beautiful Ohio River.. Augusta is also home to underground railroad.
