There are six rustic, family-friendly wood cabins at this glamping property near New Orleans. The details of each individual cabin are as follows below.
Camp Cabin: This two-bedroom cabin sleep four guests and is situated in a small knoll in a bend of the creek. Reminiscent of a fishing camp, with nicer furnishings, of course, guests will feel right at home with its fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and single bedroom. There's an 8x14 covered porch and 400 sq. ft. of living space. This quaint cabin appeals to couples and budget-minded guests who have requested a smaller lodging.
Loft Suite Cabin: This cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps up to eight guests. The Loft Suite is more contemporary and is situated over the owner's house with a side entrance via a staircase and private deck. This two-room loft has a queen-size master bedroom and a living/kitchen area with hideaway beds in the knee walls. There's also a private eight-person hot tub situated under the raised deck exclusively for the loft guests. Relax with a bird's eye view of the property.
Lumberjack Cabin: This cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps six guests. It's very spacious (450 sq. ft.) and has an open design with cathedral ceilings and a loft. Outside the French doors, relax under a private 6x16 covered porch while enjoying a campfire out front. With its rustic exterior and modern interior, there is one full bed, two single beds, and a queen-size sofa sleeper. A full kitchen, bathroom, and living area has all the comforts and needs of a home.
Treehouse Cabin: This cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps seven guests. This elevated cabin is perched off the ground under the site's largest oak tree. Just up a ramp across from the party deck is the main cabin with a charcoal grill, kitchenette, DirecTV, wireless internet, and sleeping for three. Right next to it is a four-person bunkroom and a private bathroom. With plenty of outside living area, enjoy a barbecue while overlooking the property, or entertain in the 8x16 crows' nest deck, which is 15 feet off the ground within the oak tree. A raised 60-foot bridge is now completed connecting the Treehouse cabin to the party deck.
Creekside Cabin: The Creekside Cabin is just that - backed up to Berry Creek, you can see the local wildlife from the kitchen window or overlook our pond from the bedroom’s double windows. There are two bedrooms and eight guests can be accommodated. Slightly larger than the Lumberjack at 500 sq. ft., it offers privacy with a closed bedroom and a semi-private loft. It offers a full kitchen, living area, Queen sofa sleeper, and a half walk-thru bath. Entertain on the large 8 x 24 covered porch or watch nature on the back deck. Creekside, with its beautiful cedar siding and private setting, is the most popular cabin.
Freedom Cabin: This cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests. This two-story unit is the first gas & electric cabin at the site. With its double-vented roof system, it is not only energy efficient, but also built to stand up to nature. It has two full bedrooms and an open loft accessed by a bridge from the top of the stair landing. There is also one full bathroom and one half bathroom. A fully outfitted kitchen, breakfast bar, and living room with an entertainment center encompass the main living area. Relax and enjoy nature with a cocktail on the covered porch, or walk a short distance to the hot tub deck.
Glampers will be able to make themselves at home during their stay. Linens are provided and there is are modern bathroom and laundry facilities available, though guests must provide their own towels. Guests will be able to prepare their own meals if they fancy dining in thanks to the full kitchen available, with plenty of dining space on offer for eating together.
In addition, all glampers have access to public and private hot tubs for enjoying a relaxing soak. These cabins in New Orleans are the perfect treat.

Whether glampers are hoping to enjoy a relaxing trip or one filled with adventure, they are sure to find what they're looking for. Adventurous types can engage in several water-based activities, such as canoeing, kayaking, and tubing nearby. If more into land-based sports, volleyball, soccer, and horseshoes are also available and can be enjoyed near the party deck. Romantic weekenders can enjoy some private time on the deck of their cabin while watching the sunset.
On-site games and activities include darts, ping pong, washers, a bean bag toss, a ladder toss, and horseshoes to keep guests of all ages entertained. Local activities include the Global Wildlife Center, Honey Island Swamp, Splendor Farms, St. Tammany Trace, Bogue Chitto Tubing, Pontchartrain Vineyards, Abita Brewery tours, and White Sands Lake, to name a few!
