Description

Woodland C is located approximately 0.5 miles from the park entrance. This partially shaded woodland site has drive-up parking for one vehicle at the tent for easy unloading. Your campsite features a spacious 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit and two Adirondack chairs are also included. Running water is available with a campsite water spigot. There is a camping potty at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to use restrooms and showers in the adjacent primitive camping area. And, if the temperature dips, you can keep warm with the propane heater inside the main platform tent.

The Space:
Just 30 minutes from Baton Rouge and a little over an hour from New Orleans, campers at this popular state park can explore inviting hiking trails and access the Tickfaw River

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While the host does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the state park property, the host reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Other Things to Note:
- Do pack your own food, firewood, bedding, bug spray and flashlights
- There is no electricity at your Tentrr site
- No running water at this site but a 5-gallon water jug is provided
- Anything you pack in, you must pack out. This is "leave no trace" camping.
- All trash MUST be deposited in a designated receptacle at the end of your stay
- If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee
