This charming cabin sits on the False River within easy reach of St. Francisville, Louisiana. It comes with one bedroom, one full bathroom, and makes for the ultimate romantic getaway. The bedroom is located in the snug, upstairs loft and is furnished with a full-size bed and boasts excellent views of the river. In addition to this, guests will find a sleeper sofa and a double futon in the living room to accommodate extra guests.

The living room also comes equipped with a DirecTV with XM radio to keep guests entertained. The cabin comes with a well-equipped kitchen complete with a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, dishes, and cooking utensils. Guests can enjoy an evening meal at the intimate two-person dining table. The cabin is fitted with air conditioning and heating to keep guests comfortable throughout the year.

This property is in the perfect location for guests to explore the 21-mile long False River. It is an excellent spot to go boating or fishing, and guests can bring their own boats with them to dock nearby. For the thrill seekers, the river also offers waterskiing and jet skiing opportunities. The city of New Roads sits on the banks of the river and here guests will find two waterfront restaurants where they can dine and also dock their boat. There is a host of other delicious restaurants where guests can taste the local cajun cuisine, such as Ma Mama's Restaurant and Morel's Restaurant. Downtown New Roads is a historical area and guests can wander around the interesting shops that offer everything from quaint antiques, to gifts and home accessories.
