This cabin is located in Biloxi, Mississippi, a coastal city that lies directly on the Mississippi Sound, which flows into the Gulf of Mexico. To the east is a portion of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a government initiated program to conserve the Gulf Coast beaches. About an hour drive to the north is DeSoto National Forest, which boasts over 800 square miles of southern Mississippi pine forests. This foliage is super rare in the rest of the United States, as over 90% of this ecosystem type has been lost. The closest airport is Gulfport Biloxi International Airport, which is on the outskirts of the city to the west.

The Biloxi beaches are a ten-minute drive away, and there is plenty of free parking around. Also on the shoreline are Biloxi's casinos for those guests who are feeling lucky. If glampers are looking to stay dry, DeSoto National Forest is an hour drive to the north and has over 60 miles of hiking trails. The ecosystem is rare and is home to some of the most unique species on the planet, including carnivorous plants and gopher frogs.
