The Black Mesa hiking trails lead guests put to the summit within the Black Mesa State Park. While at the top, make sure to slow down and admire the spectacular view. At night, the stars are out of this world, literally! See these sparkling lights like never before, thanks to the limited light pollution because no major cities are nearby.
Don't forget to experience the once in a lifetime chance to see dinosaur tracks from thousands of years ago. These tracks can be found right next to Carrizo Creek in Black Mesa. Discovered in 1980, only one-third of these trails remain today due to erosion, so make sure to see them before they're gone.
