Laurel Bloomery

Located in northeast Tennessee, the small town of Laurel Bloomery, nestles in the folds of the foothills of the Blue Ridge. Named after an old forge, the town is home to an annual old-time fiddlers’ convention making it a great base for those wishing to explore the musical traditions of the region, as well as being perfectly placed to explore the dramatic woodland and mountain scenery for which the Blue Ridge Mountains are famed. Hiking and biking trails through the Cherokee National Forest, the remote Unicoi Mountains, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the second most visited in the USA, allow glampers to get up close and personal with some of the wildest and most epic natural landscapes in the country, not to mention have the chance to witness wildlife ranging from bald eagles to bobcats.
