This country cabin getaway is found in Boerne, in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Sitting on Masters Lake, guests have total privacy and unbeatable lake access. The cabin has one bedroom and one full bathroom, perfect for two guests. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a large flat-screen TV, and plenty of space if guests would like to unpack.

The living room and kitchen come together to form one large, open space, where guests can relax at the end of their day. There are two large leather sofas centered around a flat-screen TV, where guests can relax comfortably for a movie night after a full day outside. With a fully-equipped kitchen, guests have the option of preparing their own meals and eating at home. Of course, for those who don't want to cook, downtown Boerne is a short drive away and has a nice selection of restaurants to choose from.

Outside, guests will find that not only are they right on Masters Lake, but they have a beautiful deck and patio from where they can enjoy the view. There are sun chairs for tanning, a grill and table for guests to have barbecues, and even a fire pit. For a true Texas Hill Country vacation, this cabin is perfect.

When visiting Texas Hill Country, guests have the peace and quiet that comes with the countryside, as well as the charm of the many small towns. Boerne is less than 15 miles away from San Antonio, perfect for a day trip, and also within 20-50 miles of some other fantastic Hill Country destinations. From towns like Comfort or Bandera to Johnson City or Fredericksburg, guests could easily spend their trip traveling around Hill Country. The drive from town to town is beautiful and guests are sure to find many treasures along the way.

In Boerne itself, guests have access to several different parks where they can do a variety of water sports, as well as hike and bike. City Lake Park is a 300-acre piece of land with many rivers and creeks for kayaking, canoeing, and tubing, as well as hiking and biking trails for guests to stretch their legs in the fresh air. About 15 minutes away is the Guadalupe River State Park, where guests can not only swim in the summers, but also go horseback riding, fishing, or hike. Trails range from the two-mile Painted Bunting Trail to the 26-mile Barred Owl Trail, which leads guests to a scenic overlook of the river.
