Upon entry, guests will be drawn to the gorgeous common area with its entire wall of windows overlooking the infinity pool, hot tub, and outdoor dining area with a stunning view of Texas Hill Country. The outdoor dining area has not only a long, relaxed, concrete bar-style table with eleven high top chairs, but also a fully-equipped kitchen, complete with a stainless steel gas barbecue grill, a double burner, a mini fridge, and 55” flat-screen TV for catching up on shows while eating or staying up to speed on sporting events. There’s a small table with four cushioned chairs next to the infinity pool that provides a great shady spot for reading a book or having some dessert paired with an impressive backdrop of panoramic views.
Back inside the common area, guests will find a 60” flat-screen TV with cable and satellite capabilities, to be enjoyed on any of the leather furniture, from couches to recliners to comfortable side chairs next to the sofa tastefully accompanied by exquisite rugs that can be found throughout the house. The bright and open room also has a pool table, for competitive game nights, and another grand dining table.
The large kitchen joins the common area and comes not only with every common kitchen amenity, including a fridge, an oven and stove, a microwave, toaster, ice maker, dishwasher, and coffee maker, but also with granite countertops, island areas for more food prep space, a gas range, and a wine fridge.
The house has one guest bedroom, one master en-suite, and an open loft that functions as the third sleeping area, and two bathrooms. Laundry can be easily accomplished during the guests’ stay at this Texas dream house, as there is a laundry room right off the guest bedroom, where all linens are towels are provided. Guests may pass by the laundry room, through the first bathroom with a toilet, sink, and combination shower/tub to find the guest bedroom that has direct access to the pool area. The guest bedroom hosts a king-size bed and a stylish interior with wood accents and plenty of natural light, as demonstrated throughout the rest of the house. The second bedroom is the master suite and is inhabited by a comfortable queen-size bed and a spacious bathroom reminiscent of a luxurious spa. In it, guests will find two sinks, a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and a large walk-in closet. Finally, guests will discover a loft that resides above the kitchen and potentially has the best view in the whole house, one story above, looking out over the common area, the pool, and the hills that make up the property. The loft can sleep four, as it has two queen-size beds and it provides yet another place to unwind in the house.

Nearby Inks Lake State Park welcomes all nature and wildlife lovers, as it boasts a diverse variety of plants and trees such as cedar, live oak, prickly pear cacti, and yuccas, and plenty of hilly trails for guests to explore. Since the level of the lake usually remains constant, if the weather permits, guests may find themselves in the mood to take a dip after a hot hike through the park. Inks Lake visitors are also permitted to boat, ski, scuba-dive, and fish on the lake, and there is a designated no-wake zone for paddling canoes and/or kayaks. All gear and water vessels can be rented at the park store, along with groceries, treats, and souvenirs.
Another part of the park called Devil’s Waterhole is one of the most well-known spots in Burnet, as it provides guests with the unique opportunity to hike the small canyon or go for a refreshing dip in the waterhole by way of jumping off the canyon cliff. Guests fortunate enough to visit with Valley Spring Creek is running will be able to explore waterfalls upstream, as well.
A trip to Perissos Vineyard and Winery means a day spent in the sun, sipping wines crafted from 100% Texas grown fruit, most of which comes directly from the 16-acre family owned and run vineyard. Guests are encouraged to relax and enjoy their time at the vineyard, sampling all kinds of wines while soaking up the views of the lush land and the local castle in the distance.
For guests looking to bring home gifts from Burnet and/or do a bit of shopping, the downtown area of Burnet can offer a wonderful day of wandering up and down streets of lovely and unique shops before popping in to enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants or cafes in the area.
The accommodation offers relaxation, swimming, games, a pool table, Wi-Fi, and a full entertainment system, but should guests decide to explore the area, they will not be disappointed.
