It lies along the North Bosque River, where you can jump in to cool off on a hot summer day. Spend the day kayaking, tubing, rafting, or swimming on the river. Northeast is Brazos River and Lake Whitney for more water oriented activities. Lake Whitney State Park provides fishing for catfish, bass, and striper. Scuba diving is also a popular activity.
