This creekside tree house accommodation is located in Columbus, Texas, and can sleep two guests, making it perfect for a rustic and intimate getaway. The accommodation features a cozy queen-size sofa bed. Guests will have access to their own bathroom, located close by, where they’ll find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Glampers should be aware that only cold water is available here. The host asks that guests bring along their own sleeping bags, blankets, towels, and anything else they may need, such as flashlights, lanterns, and bottled drinking water.
Up in the tree house, the bed converts to a comfy sofa for use during the day. There are shelves for storing personal items, as well as a handy dining table with two chairs. While the decor is simple and traditional, wonderful pieces of art can be seen everywhere, created by a local artist. Many of these pieces are for sale should guests want to take home a unique memento of their stay.
Glampers will love spending time outdoors. To the front of the tree house, there is an elevated deck with beautiful views of the creek. Down at ground level, guests will have the entire campsite to themselves. They can heat up the wood-fired hot tub for a long, luxurious soak. A brick pizza oven, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit offer lots of different ways to prepare delicious meals, and these can be enjoyed al fresco at one of the property’s picnic tables.
