Fredericksburg has an old town charm with so much to do and see both in the town and out in the rolling green meadows, woodlands, and rivers and creeks that characterize the landscape. Guests may like to start their morning at the Fredericksburg Farmer's Market and pick up a few things for a picnic, then head out to hike the Willow Canyon Loop. This 13-mile trail winds its way through the hills, creeks, meadows, valleys, and canyons of the area and gives guests not only a beautiful place to stretch their legs, but also a get a better feel for the countryside they are visiting. Enchanted Rock is a different popular hiking destination in the area, where from atop guests can take in the spectacular 360-degree views of Hill Country. Another day guests might be in the mood for a bit of history and decide to check out the Pioneer Museum Complex or the Vereins Kirche Museum to understand a little bit better the culture of this part of Texas. After dining at one of Main Streets restaurants, guests can head to Wildseed Farms.
