This "convenience and comfort campground" is the ideal place to enjoy all the great things about camping without any of the work or having to give up the luxuries of a well-appointed bedroom. Your tiny trailer provides all the comforts of home on this 10-acre property on the west side of Lake Whitney within a few miles of a boat launch. Please be aware that there are two other socially-distanced campsites on this property.

Camping near Fort Worth, Texas, is a great way to reconnect with nature and guests can explore the beautiful fenced 10 acres. The hosts advise guests to pack closed-toe walking shoes and long pants if they want to explore the wilder areas on the property. Currently, there are no farm animals but the paddock will be home to a few furry friends in the near future and the expansive grounds abound with wildflowers in the spring and early summer.
Glamping in Texas means there are plenty of things to do and guests will be just two miles from Lakeside Village, 16 miles from the historic town of Clifton, and 30 or so miles from both Glen Rose and Cleburne. In Clifton, the hosts highly recommend the Corner Drug Café for breakfast and lunch (they don't serve dinner).
