This glamping rental is a historic, restored structure named after Captain Albion E. Shepard, who founded and named the town of Marathon, where this property is located. In fact, the structure was built in 1890 and fully restored in 2012.

There are a total of seven luxury suites that can be rented within this two-story glamping accommodation, and it is the ideal rental for a group of glampers or glamping families traveling together. It is made up of two buildings: the original structure and an exterior, two-room carriage house.

In the main structure, there is one suite on the first floor and four suites on the second floor, each with a king-size bed and their own private bathroom with a walk-in shower. They share the following common rooms: a sitting room, a TV room, a dining room, a butler's kitchen, and a second-floor porch. In the carriage house that is located behind the main structure, there are two more suites, each with a king-size bed, a television, and a screened-in porch.

Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, bathrobes, premium linens, toiletries, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, bottled water, coffee, and a light continental breakfast served in the main building of the glamping property.
