This peaceful cottage rental is located on a 21-acre property near Lake Texoma, Texas, and can accommodate six guests for a getaway full of relaxation, outdoor recreation, and reconnection to nature. The cottage has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

The first bedroom features a queen-size bed, an armless chair, and a sliding barn door. Guests will find another queen-size bed in the second bedroom and a full-size bed in the third bedroom. Each of the bathrooms is fitted with a toilet, a sink, and a combination bathtub/shower. Linens and towels are provided.

In the lounge area of the open-plan living/dining room, guests will find two leather sofas and three leather sofa chairs. The adjacent dining area seats six guests with two padded booths and chairs. There is also a den in which guests will find a formal dining table that seats 10 guests and a nook furnished with a pair of sofas and a flat-screen, high-definition television. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with appliances such as an oven, a stove, a microwave, and a refrigerator, along with a three-person breakfast bar.

Outside, guests will find a covered porch with a porch swing, a swinging bench suspended between two trees, a fishing pond, two other ponds, and hiking trails.

Inside the cottage, guests will find a den with a flat-screen, high-definition television, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Outside, they will find a covered porch with a porch swing, a swinging bench suspended between two trees, a fishing pond, and hiking trails.

Guests will be able to enjoy a wide variety of water-based activities on nearby Lake Texoma, such as swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, and fishing. Guests can also go fishing right on the property's fishing pond, which is full of bass, catfish, and perch. Boats, canoes, and kayaks can be rented from Cedar Bayou Marina.

For hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing, guests can visit the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, where they will find a variety of trails, such as the Crow Hill Interpretive Trail, Harris Creek Trail, and the Meadow Pond Trail. Winding through marshlands and uplands, these trails provide guests with opportunities to see some of the 316 species of birds, 65 species of reptiles and amphibians, 62 species of fish, and 34 species of mammals that have been documented in the refuge to date.
