Bradenton is the ideal location for a relaxing summer vacation. A short drive from the ritzy community of Sarasota, Bradenton offers a more tranquil atmosphere. Bradenton is home to a thriving cultural scene and several historic buildings, but the coastline is the real drawcard, with its fantastic panoramic views of the gulf and stunning white "sugar" sand beaches. The surrounding nature is incredible, with plentiful opportunities to spot local wildlife such as owls, hawks, vultures, osprey, the occasional eagle, and plenty of alligators.
