Clermont

Clermont, Florida has a fantastic quality of life. Known as the “gem of the hills,” the town is surrounded by gently sloping hills, which is unusual in an otherwise flat state. Downtown is well worth a visit, as it retains much of its original historic buildings. Clermont is also home to one of the first constructed landmarks in Florida: the Citrus Tower, built in 1956 as a monument to Florida’s thriving citrus industry. You can also take an eco-tour in a giant swamp buggy, or visit Revolution: The Off-Road Experience, an off-road motor and sports venue. You can also go fishing, water skiing, hiking, biking, boating, and so much more. Why not check out Florida's largest premium winery, Lakeridge Winery? And of course, Orlando is a short drive.
