Destin

Destin is a stunning city on the famed Emerald Coast, with the iconic powdery white "sugar" sand beaches, endless blue skies, emerald waters, and sky-high palms that Florida is renowned for. It's also known as the "world’s luckiest fishing village" - where even less successful fishermen can catch an impressive quantity of fish. There are also numerous excellent, and world-class golf courses, and top-notch dining and shopping. Make sure to check out the Destin Harbor Boardwalk whilst you're here. And for those who enjoy spending time in nature, head to Henderson Beach State Park for dunes, pine and oak trees, as well as numerous excellent hiking trails and plentiful local flora and fauna.
