For sleeping, guests will find a full-size bed, a daybed that is larger and longer than a standard twin bed, and a high-quality twin air mattress, which is tucked beneath a cubby under the helm of the houseboat. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with appliances such as a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a stove, and a coffeemaker, along with a sink, ample cabinet space, and a breakfast bar that seats two.
Other amenities include Wi-Fi, a flat-screen with Dish network channels, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and ironing equipment. Outside, guests will find a covered upper deck with cushioned, wraparound bench seating and a lounge chair, as well as a lower deck with a patio table and two chairs.
A bathhouse is located right behind the houseboat, about 20 steps away, where guests will find three restrooms: one for men, one for women, and one for visitors. Within 20 feet of the houseboat, guests will also find a beach with tiki huts, hammocks, and lounge chairs. There is also a jetty from which guests can go fishing and a marina that is visited frequently by manatees and occasionally by dolphins.

About 15 minutes to the north, guests will find John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park. The former safeguards a vibrant underwater habitat teeming with marine life, while the latter is laced with trails winding through a variety of tropical trees and protected plants that are home to wildlife such as crocodiles. More crocodiles can be found at Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge, which encompasses 6,700 acres of tropical hardwood hammock, mangrove forest, and salt marsh environments. In addition to crocodiles, these environments also provide habitats to Key Largo woodrats and Schaus’ swallowtail butterflies.
The houseboat is about an hour and 20 minutes from Miami, where the nearest international airport is located.

Without even leaving the property, guests can go fishing from its long jetty, manatee and dolphin watching at its marina, and swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and relaxing in the hammocks at the small beach that lies right next to the houseboat. Guests will enjoy complimentary access to stand-up paddleboards and kayaks during their stay.
For more kayaking, as well as glass-bottom boat tours and snorkeling, guests can visit John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. To go hiking, biking, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing amid one of the largest expanses of West Indian tropical hardwood hammock in the entire United States, guests can head to Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park.
