Little Gasparilla Island

Little Gasparilla Island is a stunning tropical island paradise located just off the Southwest Coast of Florida's Cape Haze, about halfway between Sarasota and Fort Myers. The weather here is excellent year round, due to cool tropical breezes in the summer and plenty of warm sunshine in the winter. Interestingly, there were originally separate islands, however, after a storm in the 1960s which closed the passes, the islands joined together. Little Gasparilla Island offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the island, as it remains unmarred by roads, cars, and traffic. With an incredible seven miles of perfect white "sugar" sand beach and endless sunny skies, this is the perfect place to escape to.
