This is a rural setting and does not have Wi-Fi or cable. The camp is home to several longtime and permanent residents, some of which choose to display confederate flags. We are not responsible for how others maintain their lots and do not know who will be visiting from day to day. It’s not unusual to see pitched tents outside the cabin.

Be kind to the environment and take care of the surroundings.

Guests can head to the Ocklawaha River Floodplain Forest for some of the most complex and diverse finds in all of Florida. Drier grounds that are not regularly flooded are marked by swamp red bay, water oak, loblolly bay, Florida elm, sweetgum and cabbage palm, while flood-prone regions give way to a mixture of tupelo, ash, red maple, water hickory, and bald cypress. Enormous giant cypress trees tower over, as glampers make their way along this forest.
