This picturesque, floating cottage rental provides a magical space to relax, replenish, and explore, and is located in a full-service marina cove, where the scenic St. Johns River and Lake Monroe join in Sanford, Florida. Bathed in natural light, the cottage assures glampers views of the water and surrounding forest from every nook and cranny. The forest and waterways are home to numerous wildlife species including herons, bald eagles, owls, egrets, ibis, limpkins, and numerous songbirds. Gators, deer, and raccoons are also in the immediate area.

As this is a floating cottage, parents of toddlers should contact the host prior to booking.


There are stairs with a sturdy handrail to the loft bedroom. The cottage is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations as access requires walking down a ramp with handrails to a floating dock, then a ten to fourteen inch step onto the back porch.


The cottage is strictly a non-smoking environment, indoors and on the porches.

Because this is a cottage, floating in a marina over which the host has no control, the host requests that you acknowledge the Risks & Assumption of Risk & Responsibility of Guests.


By making this reservation at the Floating Cottage, I agree to the following:

This is a legal agreement between myself, to be known as the Guest, and the Host, which is collectively to be known as Floating Cottage, LLC, its owners, employees, trustees, heirs and/or assignees. As Guest, I take full responsibility and assume all liabilities to others caused entirely or partially by myself, my minor children, my friends and/or family members and their minor children that are staying or visiting me during my stay at the Floating Cottage. I fully understand that the liability that I am assuming extends to any bodily Injury, accidents, illnesses, paralysis, drowning and/or death, loss of personal property and expenses thereof as a result of any accident which may occur during my stay at the cottage. I completely understand, agree to and accept all liability for all persons staying or visiting me at the Floating Cottage during my stay even if these injuries, death, or loss of personal property were due to the negligence of the Host.


I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks associated with my stay at the Floating Cottage accommodation and I release the host, of any liability associated with my stay at this accommodation. I understand fully that this agreement is a contract that is legally binding upon me personally. I further understand that by the booking of my reservation, I am waiving valuable legal rights including any and all rights I may have against the Host. I also agree to hold the Host harmless and to indemnify the Host for any accidents, injuries and/or resulting deaths which may befall me, my guests and any minor children.
