Venice

Venice is home to a stunning 14 miles of beaches, stretching from Casey Key to Manasota Key. And incredible beache sthey are too, with that idyllic white powdery "sugar" sand, sky-high palms, emerald water, and endless blue skies. This is the ideal destination for anybody looking to relax by the beach, or go swimming, sunbathing, paddleboarding, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing or boating. Shelling is also a beloved pastime in this town, and glampers can find fossilized shark's teeth in abundance by by just sifting through the sand. The golf here is excellent as well, so make sure to check it out. And finally, the historic downtown is well worth a visit, reminiscient of the Italian city of Venice for which it is named.
