Chatsworth

Located in Murray County, northwest Georgia, Chatsworth is best known as the Gateway to the Appalachian. It hosts rich American-Indian history sites like the Chief Vann House Historic Site, Georgia's best preserved Cherokee home, as well as Fort Mountain State Park where Native Americans built a fortification and an ideal place to hike. Outdoor activities include camping, hiking or kayaking in the Cohutta Wilderness or in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
