This unique and secluded tree house is located in Flintstone, Georgia, close to the majestic Appalachian Mountains, and can accommodate up to four guests. There is a sleeping loft, with a hotel-quality queen-size bed, and spectacular valley views. Further sleeping space can be found in the lounge area, where there’s a comfortable sofa bed. In the quirky and stylish bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower, which has been created using a vintage whiskey barrel. Glampers will be amazed by the incredible flooring, with its hundreds of sparkling pennies. Freshly-laundered linens and towels are provided by the host, along with complimentary toiletries.
In the light and airy living room, guests will find a soft, cozy sofa, and a coffee table. This is the perfect space to curl up in the evening, with a good book and, in the day, there are amazing views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The city of Chattanooga has some fantastic museums, perfect for those rainy days, including The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, Hunter Museum of American Art, Chattanooga African American Museum, and the Creative Discovery Museum, which is highly recommended for families with children. Kids will also love the Tennessee Aquarium, which is only 15 minutes from the property. Here, visitors can see more than 800 species of marine animals and fish, including seahorses, sharks, and turtles.
For bright and sunny days, the city's Warner Park offers a zoo and an outdoor swimming pool. It's only a short drive to Lake Winnie Amusement Park, a classic American fairground featuring food, games, and rides. Those in need of some retail therapy will love Hamilton Place Mall, only 25 minutes away. It is Tennessee's largest shopping complex featuring six department stores and over 200 specialty stores and restaurants. The Chattanooga region is a haven for outdoor recreation. The Raccoon Mountain Caverns is just 20 minutes from the property and it offers two tours. The Crystal Palace Tour is a 45-minute guided walking tour through the front-lit portion of the cave and covers nearly half of a mile. For the more adventurous, the Wild Cave Expedition features a 15-foot rope climb and extensive crawling.
Close to the property, guests can enjoy fishing, running, climbing, hiking, and biking. Fans of water sports, like kayaking and paddleboarding, will adore the Tennessee River Blueway, a 50-mile recreational section of the Tennessee River that flows through Chattanooga and the Tennessee River Gorge. This area is also fantastic for wildlife viewing, providing some of the best bird watching in the area. Glampers can spot songbirds and birds of prey such as bald eagles during the winter and Ospreys in the summer.
