Location + Surroundings
The property is located on a beautiful expanse of private land surrounded by maple trees, about 10 minutes from the town center of Moultrie, a charming community in southern Georgia near the Georgia-Florida border. The property was historically used as a site for annual quail hunting, however, in recent years the owners have acquired the original 19th-century Moultrie Train Depot and a 1901 Pullman railcar, both of which are used for lodging and events by today’s guests.
In Moultrie, guests will find restaurants, boutique shops, and heritage centers gathered around the town square, with the Main Street Park nearby and a few 18-hole golf courses around town. Tallahassee, Florida, is just an hour away to the south by car. Read More
Glampers will find plenty to do without leaving the vast property, from shooting skeet on the range behind the main lodge and hunting quail on the 4,000 acres of land to riding horses on one of the trails extending into the woods of southern Georgia. The main lodge is elegantly and comfortably outfitted for nights playing games or talking to other guests in front of the roaring fire, with a network of walking paths meandering across the lawns for those who enjoy an afternoon stroll.
