Guests will have the perfect base for exploration of the many treasures of the north Georgia mountains. Once glampers are ready to kick off their day, they’ll have to make the difficult decision of which beautiful place to visit.
Within a very short drive of the property, guests can visit Dockery Lake for swimming, fishing, and to witness breathtaking scenery. The Deep Hole Recreation Area is a beautiful fishing destination located within the Chattahoochee National Forest.
For hiking, guests can visit Sea Creek Falls to enjoy a leisurely hike to a small waterfall located in the Cooper Creek Scenic Area. The upper falls feature a series of steep cascades ending in a brief drop. The second falls are also a series of steep cascades. When the water flow is heavy in late winter, spring, or post-summer months, the falls are a truly remarkable sight.
The Toccoa River is home to the famous Swinging Bridge, a sight not to be missed, and offers the perfect place to spend the day swimming, tubing down the river, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or rafting. For those less actively inclined, Preacher’s Rock is a very short hike off of the highway offering an incredible view, and Sosebee Cove is an amazing place for a leisurely visit to admire the soaring trees and blooming wildflowers.
