This charming cottage rental near Marble, North Carolina is self-contained and sits amongst a lush backdrop of mountains and trees, beautifully manicured gardens, the sparkling waters of Phillips Creek, and several hiking trails that wind through the glamping site. The cottage overlooks a small pond, has two bathrooms, and three bedrooms in total. There are two king-size bedrooms, one queen-size bedroom, and a queen-size sleeper sofa, the cottage sleeps six to eight guests comfortably.

The cottage rental has a fully equipped kitchen including all cooking utensils, flatware, and dishes. The living room features a large stone fireplace, pull-out sofa, 42" LCD TV with cable, central heating, air-conditioning, inside and outside dining areas and a laundry room stocked with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. The master bedroom includes a 40" LCD TV with cable, and all bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, luxury linens, an iPod dock with alarm clock and private labeled bottled water. This custom designed 30-foot-wide sandstone deck with an 8-foot-wide sunken fire pit is surrounded on two sides by Phillips Creek and an amazing bamboo garden. The fire pit includes Adirondack chairs, side tables, a woodshed stocked with blankets, 48” skewers for s’mores, fire starter, fire pokers, and plenty of split wood.

The gardens and grounds invite glampers to take leisurely strolls to discover its beauty. The estate is a picturesque blending of manicured grounds, fabulous gardens, fruit trees, blueberry bushes, pastures, and woodlands. Guests can stroll along quiet paths that weave their way to a secluded waterfall, through the surrounding hills, or find themselves high above the glamping site gazing across the mountain tops. At this glamping site, guests will find The Garden Loft, a 400-square-foot multi-purpose room located above the reception barn overlooking the gardens and grounds. With central heating and air-conditioning, this space can be used year round for group meetings, yoga, exercise, massage, stretching, and meditation.

Glampers can stroll along the tree-lined gravel roads meandering through the property, walk the nature trails surrounding the estate and along Phillips Creek, hike to the Hawkesnest Pavilion with its views of the grounds and surrounding countryside, make the one-mile hike into the Nantahala National Forest to the hidden waterfall, or just sit in a swing out at the arbor and enjoy the lush surroundings.The host also encourages guests to visit with the animals on site. The llamas and alpacas are naturally curious and enjoy the attention and company. Glampers are welcome to participate in the daily feeding and visit with them inside the pasture.
