Description of Glamping Units
This cabin rental near Stone Mountain State Park in North Carolina is perfect for those who want a private and comfortable camping experience in a very secluded and naturally wooded setting. Located on a unique 78 acres with hiking trails, a trout stream, and waterfalls, this cabin offers a full-size hot tub (seating for five) on the high-perched covered porch—which gives the feeling of being in a tree house—along with rocking chairs and swing.
There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom (main level), a queen-size bed in the second bedroom (upstairs), two twin-size beds in the loft upstairs (daybed/trundle equivalent to two twin beds), and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room (main level). There are two full bathrooms (one on the main level and one upstairs).
The cabin is decorated with a deer an Indian motif and offers various shades of green/natural colors. Its construction consists of western red cedar "real logs." The cedar logs are hand-hewn, and the furnishings inside the cabin are accented with gnarly wood character, hand-crafted from Montana lodge pole pine logs. Dimmer controlled lighting can be found in every room to create the perfect mood setting.
Amenities include a wood-burning stone fireplace (complimentary wood included), fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a television with a basic digital TV package, a washer and dryer, all linens, a large gas grill (gas provided), and much more. There is also a folding table with four chairs provided in the closet for group sizes over four.
Outside, guests are able to sit around their own private campfire ring with seating and enjoy a meal at their picnic table. In addition, guests will enjoy exploring the 78 acres, its trails, creeks with cascading waterfalls, and the opportunity to do some trout fishing. Read More

This property features everything and more that glampers would need during their stay the western corner of North Carolina. With Wi-Fi, cable television programming, ceiling fans, and a wood-burning fireplace, guests will remain comfortable and connected throughout their stay. Linens, bedding, and towels are supplied, as well as the use of the washing machine, clothes dryer, and iron with ironing board. Guests will enjoy preparing meals in the indoor kitchen fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and necessary utensils.
Outside, guests can enjoy the use of a covered deck with traditional rocking chairs, a large bubbling hot tub, and a gas grill. A picnic area and a private fire pit can also be found outside where guests can enjoy their meals under the vast North Carolina sky.

The host's cancellation policy is as follows:
All reservations are FINAL. Should you need to cancel your reservation, cancellations will be accepted by telephone and then must be formalized in writing by the Tenant/Responsible Party within 5 days to be eligible for any type of refund. The Property will not, under any circumstances, release any rental time or seek any re-rental of canceled rental time without prior written notice from the Tenant. Once written notice is received, Tenant has forfeited all reservation rights. The liability of the Tenant for financial loss due to cancellation is the full dollar amount of the rental contract for the time period specified. The Tenant will receive a dollar for dollar credit for any time that is re-rented, less the processing fee & cancellation fee (15% of the total rental amount, minimum of $50.00) and any other administrative costs associated with the re-rental, such as overnight mail or wages of staff to meet last minute arrivals. If the Rental Agreement is not in good standing (Paid in Full according to the contract due dates), the Tenant then forfeits all rights to be eligible for any kind of refund less the fees stated in the contract. In order to be fair to all of our customers there are no exceptions to our cancellation policy, so please do not ask. There are NO REFUNDS or Date Transfers for weather conditions. It will be the sole discretion of the Property to determine if a partial re-rental is in the best interest of all parties, factors that will be considered is the length of time available to attempt to re-rent the property prior to the arrival date, economic conditions, time of year, weather, etc. If any prepaid damage/security deposits have been made these would be fully refundable upon cancellation (as these prepayments are to only be applied and/or retained for any actual damages/cost incurred by the Property).
The host's date transfer policy is as follows:
To be eligible for a date transfer, the request must be submitted & received in writing at least 60 days in advance of arrival date (please, no exceptions). Transfer requests less than 60 days from arrival date are treated as a cancellation and would fall under the cancellation policy. The transfer request must be for the same cabin as original reservation, same dollar amount (or more). New arrival & departure dates must be specified at the time the transfer request is made and must be within one year of original reservation date. If the transfer is granted, subject to availability, a $50.00 transfer fee will be charged at the time the transfer is processed. There is a $300.00 damage/security deposit that is processed on your debit/credit card as a Hold Only/Pre-Authorization. This deposit is processed two weeks prior to arrival date. This property is conveniently located just one mile off of Hwy. 421 in the Deep Gap area, located just five minutes from the Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. The location is centrally located between several towns, Boone being the closest, just 15 minutes via Hwy. 421. Blowing Rock is within 25 minutes, and guests can either take the Blue Ridge Parkway or Hwy. 421, the 105 Bypass and then Hwy. 321. The town of W. Jefferson, which is now known for its great shops and art galleries is also about a 25-minute drive via Hwy. 421 & then Hwy. 221. The town of Wilkesboro, famous for Merlefest and the Apple Festival is just 15 minutes away via Hwy. 421.
