This breathtaking lakefront getaway has a private hot tub and boat dock on Fontana Lake in North Carolina and can accommodate 12 guests, making it perfect for large groups. Upon entering the cabin, guests will be in awe of the outstanding architecture, beautiful decor and abundance of space. The focal point of the space will definitely be the impressive central light fixture made entirely from intertwined branches. It is stunning to say the least!
There are four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one-half bathroom. The first master bedroom is located on the middle floor of the cabin and features a king-size bed, an attractive gas fireplace, and doors out to the deck. It also has its own attached bathroom with a vanity, a toilet, and a shower. The second master bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a king-size bed and attached bathroom with a vanity, an over-sized tub with a hand-held shower, and a toilet. The upper level of the cabin houses the remaining sleeping spaces, one being a closed bedroom and the other a closed off section of the open loft. The bedroom has a queen-size bed while the other area has two queen-size beds and a gas fireplace. These rooms share a full bathroom. All beds have pillow-top mattresses, luxury linens and down comforters. Guests will have a choice of foam or down pillows. Designer quality towels are provided for showers and separate towels are available for use in the hot tub or lake.
The impressive main floor great room is stunning with its soaring beamed ceilings, stone fireplace, and immense windows. The absence of a TV in this space is purposeful in order for guests to simply enjoy spending quality time with one another. Also on the main level is the well-appointed kitchen featuring granite countertops and stylish appliances. It comes equipped with a refrigerator, a gas cooktop, a wall oven, and a dishwasher. Small appliances include a microwave, a toaster, and a coffeemaker. Cookware, dinnerware, and all utensils are provided. There is also a small TV located in the kitchen. The dining area features a large table with seating for 10. Bar stools at the kitchen counter can seat three to four additional guests. The half-bathroom and laundry room complete this level.
Additional living and sleeping space is found on the lower level. There is a rec room with a queen-size sleeper sofa as well as a large HDTV with CD/DVD capabilities. The upstairs loft also has a space for hanging out and playing games or getting away from it all with a good book.
Outside, there is a large covered deck complete with a ceiling fan, a gas grill, patio seating, and a hammock swing. Everything guests need to spend time relaxing outdoors while taking in the lovely views. There is a hot tub situated closer to the water on a deck nestled in the trees making it the ultimate spot to escape to and become one with nature. This amazing cabin comes equipped with all the necessities of home ensuring guests will only need to worry about relaxing and unwinding during their stay here. Guests will have access to satellite TV, a CD/DVD player, and laundry facilities. There is a private hot tub located on the property and guests will have the use of a private boat dock. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles is available on site.

Location + Surroundings
This remarkable lakefront cabin is situated right on the southern side of Fontana Lake, near Little Tennessee River, in North Carolina. Fontana Lake is a sportsman's dream offering up some of the best pike and bass fishing in the area. Almond Boat Park, also on Fontana Lake is a 23-minute drive and offers boat rentals, bait, and fishing licenses. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 45 minutes from the property. The park straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee and is comprised of 10,640 acres of lush forests, wildflowers, streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Hiking routes snake throughout the park and include a segment of the Appalachian Trail.
The adorable town of Bryson City is 30 minutes away and offers a variety of good old southern cooking, unique shops, galleries, and breweries. 12 miles west of Bryson City is the beautiful Nantahala River Gorge, the most popular river for whitewater rafting and kayaking. Given the beauty and serenity of this property, guests may decide to have a "staycation" and take full advantage of the lake for boating, kayaking, canoeing, or swimming. Guests could also easily get caught up in the surroundings while soaking their cares away in the hot tub overlooking the lake. The nearby Almond Boat Park offers boat rentals so guests could rent a boat, cruise the lake and then tie up for the night at the private boat dock.
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has acres of land for hiking amidst a gorgeous backdrop. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is a scenic train ride take passengers along the Nantahala and Tuckasegee Rivers, over mountains, across valleys, and through tunnels. The Nantahala River is part of the Nantahala National Forest and offers fun for the whole family in the form of rafting, zip lining, paddleboarding, hiking, biking, and fishing. It has been referred to as "Disneyland for lovers of the outdoors!"
Bryson City borders the south side of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The town is described as "laid-back and non-touristy" and is a great place to stroll the streets and explore the local bookstores, arts and crafts galleries, bike shops, and a historical museum. Despite its small scale, Bryson offers a large number of restaurants ranging from delicious home cooked southern food to delectable fine dining. Beer lovers may wish to pay a visit to one of the local breweries for a taste of the areas finest brews.
