COVID-19 Actions

We have committed to a 4-step enhanced cleaning process—a set of standards developed in partnership with experts, for the times of COVID-19 and beyond. Step 1: Prepare We make sure to: o Ventilate the space before and during cleaning, when possible o Use disinfectants approved by our local regulatory agencies for use against COVID-19 o Wash or disinfect our hands, and wear a mask and gloves while cleaning Step 2: Clean We make sure to: o Sweep, vacuum, dust, and/or mop areas before sanitizing o Wash all dishes and laundry at the highest heat setting possible o Wipe down hard surfaces with soap and water Step 3: Sanitize We make sure to: o Spray high-touch surfaces in each room with an approved disinfectant spray o Let the disinfectant stand for the length of time specified on the product label o Allow the surface to air-dry Step 4: Reset To help prevent cross-contamination, we make sure to: o Wash our hands and replace gloves before replacing guest supplies, linens, and cleaning kits o Safely dispose of or wash cleaning supplies and protective gear o Don’t re-enter a room once it’s been sanitized o Empty and/or clean our equipment (ex: vacuum, microfiber cloths) between each turnover o We’ve heard from guests that they want the ability to clean on their own while staying at our listing. So we set out guest cleaning supplies they can use, such as disposable paper towels, disinfectant spray or wipes, and hand sanitizer or extra hand soap (under kitchen sink).
