In the summer, guests can swim or ride paddle boards on the water, or enjoy picnics by the shore. Additionally, guests can kayak and raft down the nearby Broad River, or cool off in a clean, shaded swimming hole by the river banks. Guests can travel down to Lake Lure, the town's namesake, for more fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking.
The cabin's neighborhood features many gorgeous nature walks and hiking trails around the lakeshore and through the woodlands. Guests can take walks, hikes, and bike rides along these trails, where they can also view wildlife, watch birds, or take photos of the beautiful scenery.
Outdoor adventurers can spend the day at Chimney Rock State Park, just 10 minutes away from Lake Lure. Guests can go hiking, biking, and rock climbing at the park, where they can see the spectacular waterfalls known as Hickory Nut Falls.
