This luxury cedar log cabin in Lake Lure is made up of three floors, has four bedrooms, and can accommodate up to nine guests. Guests will find one bedroom with a queen-size bed on the upper floor, two bedrooms with a queen-size bed on the second floor, and a bedroom with two twin beds on the first floor. The loft on the upper floor also comes with a queen-size futon to sleep additional guests. The cabin also offers three full bathrooms. The bathroom on the first floor features a shower and a bathtub, and the bathrooms on the second and upper floor each come with a shower.

Downstairs on the first floor, guests can prepare an enjoyable meal in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen that is fitted with new appliances. It comes complete with a refrigerator with an ice maker, a dishwasher, a microwave, a gas stove, as well as a crockpot, a toaster, a juicer, and a blender. Guests will also find a Keurig and a regular coffee machine, an espresso machine, and a coffee grinder, for a morning pick-me-up. Pots, pans, dishes, utensils, dish soap, paper towels, and spices are also provided. Guests can sit and enjoy some food on the bar stools in the kitchen or around the large dining table in the open-plan living area.

The spacious living area is furnished with a large comfy sofa to seat all of the family and boasts a huge stone fireplace stocked with plenty of wood. Guests can enjoy a cozy movie night in front of the 52-inch flat-screen television that is fitted with surround sound. It is also equipped with Apple TV, Netflix, Airplay, and a DVD player with a selection of movies. Guests will also find card and board games, a stereo, books, and a full-size ping pong table that is located in the garage. Additionally, the cabin is fitted with the internet so guests never feel out of reach. In addition to this, the cabin is equipped with a washing machine, a clothes dryer, a hair dryer, an iron and board, bed linens, and towels.

During the warmer months, guests can rustle up a delicious barbecue on the outdoor gas grill, situated on the upper deck. The cabin features two wraparound decks furnished with log rocking chairs and a hammock, which make the perfect place for taking in the fresh mountain air and relaxing to the calming sounds of the nearby river. The fenced-in back yard is perfect for those bringing dogs and for enjoying a cozy evening around the firepit. A staircase off the backyard leads guests down to the Broad River, which offers a secluded and tranquil spot to unwind and go for a float.

The cabin comes with a gas grill located on the upper deck to enjoy a barbecue in the sunshine. Inside the cabin, guests will find a fireplace, with wood provided, to keep guests toasty warm. Additionally, the cabin is fitted with air conditioning and heating. The property also offers guests a garage and off-street parking space, in case they bring their car.

The cabin is ideally located within close proximity to a host of fun and exciting attractions to keep the whole family entertained. Guests can take advantage of being just minutes from the Broad River where they can go kayaking, rafting, or simply just take a dip in the beautiful, untouched waters. The Lake Lure Beach and Waterpark is a short 15-minute drive from the property and provides a fun-filled day out for the family, especially the younger ones. Here, guests can also delight in a delicious picnic under the covered picnic area on the beach. The main attraction of the area is undoubtedly Lake Lure itself, which boasts 720 acres of pristine waters to explore. The lake hosts an array of water sports activities including canoeing, boating, and water skiing. It is also an excellent fishing spot with a variety of fish such as Rainbow Trout, White Bass, and Catfish. However, guests should note that licenses and trout stamps are required to fish in the lake and the surrounding streams.

Aside from water based activities, Lake Lure is a haven for golf enthusiasts, with the Lake Lure Golf Club just a three-mile drive from the cabin. Here, guests can enjoy the extensive nine-hole course and the stunning setting with views of the Hickory Hut Gorge. For those who are seeking something more strenuous, they can head to the Rumbling Bald Mountain in the Chimney Rock State Park for some challenging rock climbing and bouldering. If that doesn't tickle guests' fancy, the park is also home to a variety of scenic hiking trails to choose from, ranging from easy to more arduous.

A must-do trip is to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which, although located approximately 70 miles away, is definitely worth the visit. Guests can discover the breathtaking waterfalls, go horseback riding, biking, or simply observe the wonderful wildlife and take some excellent photographs.
