Just 40-minutes from Asheville, North Carolina, this beautiful mountain retreat with a beautiful porch provides a fantastic cabin getaway for the whole family in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The rental has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in order to comfortably accommodate seven guests.
Paved access via the Maggie Valley Country Club will lead guests to the spacious mountain retreat they will be able to call home. After driving up the steep driveway that hosts plenty of parking, guests will pass through the wonderful covered porch, ideal for restful days spent amongst the green trees on the wooden swing or any of the patio furniture. Upon entering the cabin, glampers will be greeted by a vaulted A-frame ceiling in the open layout common area that keeps the spacious room feeling bright and airy, even as it sits tucked away in the wilderness.
Vintage cabinets and appliances fill the fully-equipped kitchen that comes complete with a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a microwave, a stove, a coffeemaker, and all kinds of dishes and cooking utensils a guest could need. Food and conversation can be shared through the large space in-between the cabinetry and the kitchen counter, connecting guests in the kitchen with guests sitting at the six-seater country dining table. Both areas look out across the large living room that houses one large brown suede couch with two matching brown suede chairs, a beautiful stone fireplace, and a television in the corner of the room. An open staircase with a hallway balcony can be accessed from the living room, sporting a view of the entire common area and out the picture windows lined against the wall.
Each of the spacious bedrooms houses shiny cherry wood floors and a cable television so guests can enjoy their favorite programs before bed or when they wake up each morning. In the master bedroom, glampers will find a full-size bed with a vanity and a connected bathroom that hosts a toilet, a shower, and a sink. The second bedroom also caters to a full-size bed, and the third room is great for kids since it houses two twin-size bunk beds with an additional twin-size bed beside them.
The second bathroom also plays host to a toilet, a shower, and a sink. Linens and towels are provided, along with a washer/dryer for any laundry needs guests might have during their stay.

Facilities located in the cabin include central heat and air conditioning with a gas fireplace for cold nights. The cabin has a washer/dryer to make laundry tasks easy, and Wi-Fi can be used throughout the cabin. Families traveling with small children may find the high chair and Pack-N-Play to be of use during their stay.

Although the cabin and surrounding town give off the feeling of being off the beaten path, guests are actually never too far from modern conveniences and shops unique to Maggie Valley. Just 40 minutes from the vibrant city of Asheville, guests could find themselves spending the day wandering The Downtown Art District, viewing galleries, sampling amazing local beer, and potentially coming back to the cabin with unique pieces of art.
Horseback riding, birding, and wildlife viewing are all easy to access in the area, should guests feel so inclined. The Great Smoky Mountains also host fun activities like zip lining or renting a kayak and spending the day paddling down a nearby river.
After a long day of adventuring, guests might feel inclined to put their feet up and turn in the for the night, but heading into Maggie Valley in the evenings means great food, music, dancing, and getting better acquainted with the lovely people that call the area home.
