This colorful beachfront cottage is located in Oak Island, North Carolina. As fun and sunny indoors as it is out, it can accommodate 10 guests. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Rooms are dressed in shades of sunny citrus, ocean blue, dusty lilac, and muted tan. The first bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The third bedroom has one king-size bed, and the fourth has two full-size beds. Bathrooms feature bright colors and fun accessories. Linens and towels are provided.
A spacious open floor plan has vaulted ceiling, oversized art, and unique decor. The living area has a sofa, a loveseat, and a large flat-screen cable TV. The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, attractive oak cabinets, and a breakfast bar with six stools. The dining table seats eight, and there is an upper-level loft with a table and four chairs, which makes a nice spot to play cards, read a book, or construct a puzzle. Outside, guests will find a deck facing the beach and a boardwalk that leads to the beach. The Oak Island Nature Center has nature trails and exhibits, and it makes a great excursion for families with kids of all ages. Ocean Crest Fishing Pier is a popular spot for anglers. Oak Island Lighthouse offers a bird's-eye view of the beaches and scenery of Bald Head Island.
Hiking and biking trails can be found at Carolina Beach State Park and Brunswick Nature Park. Other attractions include the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport, Old Baldy Lighthouse, and the zip-lines and rope courses at Shallotte River Swamp Park.
