About this place

This hand-painted Mongolian yurt rental is located in Robbinsville, North Carolina, and accommodates four guests. Intimate and cozy, the yurt features one bedroom and one common area which contains a double bed and two twin beds beneath skylight views. There are hot showers inside the full public bathrooms located in the gymnasium. Towels and bed linens are provided if needed, as well as soaps, shampoos, and toilet paper.

With a dome at the top that offers a window that lets in bright, natural sunlight and views of starry night skies, guests will find seclusion and relaxation at this yurt accommodation. As soon as guests enter through the ornately hand-painted and colorful doorway, they will find themselves comfortable and at peace. This yurt, which does not have electricity or TV's, allows guests to become unplugged from their devices and fully emerged with nature. There is, however, Wi-Fi internet that is accessible near the office and offers a way for guests to stay connected and share photos with family and friends. From 8:00 am to 10 am, we have coffee and tea in the cafeteria. Guests can find local maps at the office foyer area and cafeteria.

Outside, the yurt rests on a wooden platform surrounded by the forest. Nearby, there is a fire pit/grill area where guests can roast marshmallows for s'mores. A picnic area offers a place to dine outside and have dinner al fresco. There is gravel parking directly next to the yurt.

The property also provides extra amenities for guests to use, including an outdoor labyrinth, a tennis court, and a covered communal dining area. There are even group picnic areas with barbecue grills and fire pits, a volleyball net, a gymnasium, a basketball court, pickle ball and even a hammock post for afternoon naps.

Reiki/energy work is available by appointment with Liz Velazquez, Reiki master, spiritual guide and life coach.

Wi-Fi is available in the main office and outdoor sitting area.

It is our goal to provide our guests with a comfortable, peaceful, restorative and joyful experience.
