Just 12 miles from New River State Park, several golf courses, and plenty of other and local attractions, this site is ideal for destination weddings and rejuvenating getaways. Just out the door, there are wooded trails along the creek, as well as plenty of nature trails for biking and hiking through the hills and at nearby state parks. Guests can head over to the New River for some relaxing tubing, canoeing, or fishing. The Barter Theatre is an hour away for an evening of entertainment, and guests can also visit the golf courses even closer to home. Adult guests can enjoy wine tasting at any of the nearby wineries. There are several restaurants, shops, and art galleries in town for guests to choose from.

No pets are allowed at this property. Children must be at least 12 to visit. Smoking is only allowed out on the porch areas.
Guests are provided with breakfast every morning. On the day of arrival, guests are offered a complimentary wine and cheese social hour at 5 p.m.
The property offers a storybook wedding venue. During weddings, rooms must be rented for at least one or two days in addition to rental of the grounds.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is due upon booking. The full rate is due at least two weeks before arrival date.
North Carolina state employees, local industry workers, and Alleghany School System employees receive a special business rate of $90 plus tax Monday through Thursday. This rate includes a continental breakfast.
There is a $25 fee per extra guest in two of the rooms.
Guests are asked to notify the host if they cannot arrive by the 3 p.m. check-in.
