Exquisite Handcrafted Tiny House near Asheville Perfect for Glamping in North Carolina
"We adored this tiny house for our getaway. It was close enough to Asheville that we could still do breweries and explore but far enough away that we …"
This simply stunning tiny house near Asheville is absolutely perfect for up to two guests to go glamping in North Carolina. Romantic getaways here will be an unforgettable experience and the house really is a collection of stories. Stories of cultural and personal history, ecology, and craft. To celebrate this area's incredible legacy of craft, the hosts have collaborated with some of the most talented makers in the region. Staying at this enchanting getaway, guests will have an experience unheard of in the modern era as almost everything glampers touch or interact with was woven, shaped, or whittled by hand.
The hosts believe that traditional craft requires a relationship with local materials, not just as supplies but as plants, trees, and ecosystems. While one of the creators, Mike, loves black walnut for its beauty in woodworking, Jessica wants the husks for dying her sheep’s wool, Chris harvests the immature nuts for a traditional medicinal liqueur, Ashley uses the nuts in baking, and Kristen knows to avoid planting a garden underneath the tree. That’s just one example of the many relationships the makers of this unique North Carolina tiny home have with their local ecology. They invite guests to come in, slow down, and have an amazing experience with the nature and craft of this area.
The nooks inside include a gorgeous breakfast alcove, a tea loft, an entertainment loft, and a cozy sleeping area. Aside from the nooks, there is an airy living space with an 18-foot ceiling, expansive windows, and a swing to enjoy the outdoor (or indoor) views. Places to stay in North Carolina have never been as magical as this truly spectacular getaway in nature.
