When looking for things to do in the area, glampers can cross the road for some scenic trout fishing on the Tuckaseegee River. They'll also find themselves at walking distance (but no sidewalks) from the mountain village of Dillsboro, as well as a just a short drive fromSylva. In addition, glampers will be 10 minutes to Western Carolina University and under thirty minutes to Cherokee Reservation, Smoky Mountain National Park, Bryson City, Smoky Mountain Railroad and Blue Ridge Parkway.
Nearby attractions include fly fishing, rafting, hiking, and quaint downtown Sylva, and this property is located on the Jackson County public transit line (must call in advance to reserve a spot on the trolly). The accommodation is also located on a scenic cycling route. There is a river road on one side of property, a country lane on the other, and a short mountain road behind.
