About 12 minutes to the south, guests can visit Sadlers Creek State Park, where they will find a boat ramp, a fishing pier, a hiking trail, and a six-mile-long biking loop. About 22 minutes to the west, guest can visit Lake Hartwell State Park, which encompasses 680 acres of woodlands and features a hiking trail from which guests can see hawks, owls, and other birds of prey. The bed and breakfast is about 11 minutes from the Anderson Regional Airport and 16 minutes from downtown Anderson, where guests will find shops and restaurants. It is about two and a half hours from Charlotte, North Carolina, where the nearest international airport is located.

With Lake Hartwell practically right outside the door of the bed and breakfast, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, jet skiing and fishing for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, bream, catfish, and walleye
The Western Carolina Sailing Club is right down the road. Boats and jet skis can be rented from Pontoon & Jet Ski Rental in nearby Fair Play, South Carolina. Kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards can be rented from Clemson Marina, Hartwell Marina, and Clemson Outdoor Recreation and Education.
For biking, hiking, and birdwatching opportunities, guests will find paths and trails at Sadlers Creek State Park and Hartwell State Park, where they will also find fishing piers and boat ramps.
Other activity options include antiquing at the area's many antique stores and visiting local attractions such as the Anderson County Museum, the Anderson Downtown Historic District, Rocky River Nature Park, and Clemson University, where guests can attend Clemson Tigers football games.
