Heading out onto the water is the best thing guests can do on Hilton Head Island, so whether that takes the form of swimming in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean or hopping on a speed boating thrill-ride, guests are sure to have an incredible time. Also popular out on the ocean are dolphin and whale watching tours, along with cool parasailing experiences. Due to the advent of bike lanes and paths in recent years, biking around the island is a great way for guests to explore the whole area at their own pace. With over 10 golf courses on the island and even more on the nearby mainland, those wanting to hit the fairways and greens are spoilt for choice during their stay. Other things to do on Hilton Head include zip-lining, available from Zipline Hilton Head, and mini golf, on offer at both Pirate's Island and Legendary Golf. In case guests are looking for a more relaxed time away from the property, the Coastal Discovery Museum is a fascinating place to learn more about the Lowcountry's rich natural history.
