This spectacular log cabin lies on the edge of the striking Lake Jocassee, South Carolina. It can accommodate up to nine guests and comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms feature floor to ceiling windows boasting panoramic views of the surrounding woodland and give a true tree-house feel. One of these bedrooms comes with a king-size bed and a private bathroom and the second bedroom includes three single beds, making a great hideaway for the kids. The third bedroom offers a double bed and the fourth bedroom offers a queen-size bed and a private bathroom.
The spacious, recently remodeled kitchen boasts new, stainless steel appliances and African granite countertops. It comes fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, and all essential cookware. Guests can enjoy a snack at the breakfast bar or share an evening meal together around the large, wooden dining table. Alternatively, guests can dine al fresco at the picnic table on the deck.
Guests will feel right at home in the cozy living room, which offers a comfy sofa and armchairs, and features a magnificent, rock, wood burning fireplace. It comes equipped with a television, a VCR, a DVD player, a CD player, and a stereo for guests´ entertainment. Guests will also find a music and video library, toys, and games, to keep the kids occupied.
For longer stays, the Lake Jocassee cabin provides a washing machine, a dryer, an iron, and an ironing board. Guests are also given towels and a hairdryer.
Step outside and guests will find plenty of places to chill out and unwind overlooking Lake Jocassee, South Carolina. The multiple decks come with sunbeds, tables, and chairs, which are the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or watch the sunset over the lake in the evening. During warmer weather, guests can rustle up a barbecue on the charcoal grill. The huge dock gives direct access to the Lake and provides space for those bringing their own boats.
This fantastic example of great Lake Jocassee cabins provides a large dock that can fit up to three boats. If guests do not bring their own boat, they can use the canoe, which is provided, to explore the lake. The property also offers off-street parking, multiple outdoor decks, and a charcoal grill.
Please take note that there are many steps from the house to the dock. This house is not suitable for the elderly or infirmed.

The house has steps from the house all the way down to the dock that may not be suitable for the elderly or handicapped.
Guests are required to pay a refundable damage deposit of $250. If guests do not wish to clean up when they leave, they must pay a cleaning fee. A trash pick-up service is also available for an additional fee.
Bed linens are included; however, guests should bring their own towels.
Seasonal rates apply, and the maximum occupancy for the property is nine guests.

The location of this property is a wonderland for watersports enthusiasts and fervent fishers. Guests can bring their own boats to explore the pristine waters of the lake or take the canoe provided. The 7,500-acre lake boasts breathtaking waterfalls and streams and is a great spot to go swimming or scuba diving. The lake also offers top-quality fishing with a huge population of trout. The Devil´s Fork State Park borders the lake and here guests will find The Bear Cove Trail and The Oconee Bell Nature Trail, which was named after the endangered wildflower which can be sighted along the way.
A trip here wouldn´t be complete without a visit to the majestic Jocassee Gorges, which encompass the area and offer excellent opportunities for hiking or a scenic drive. Other popular sports include golfing, horseback riding, and motor boating. During the winter, guests can even go skiing or tubing in the Sapphire Valley, which is situated 25 minutes away. If guests fancy dining out or a bit of retail therapy, they can head to the mountain village of Cashiers, which is also just a 25-minute drive from the property.
