Seabrook

Located by the Whale Branch River, Seabrook is a suburb of historic Beaufort, South Carolina. The second oldest city in the state, lying not far from the border with Georgia, Beaufort is a popular tourist destination on account of its historic architecture and balmy, subtropical climate, and Seabrook makes for a perfect alternative to staying downtown. Beaufort’s architecture represents centuries of American history, with the remnants of colonial times in its downtown, a designated historic district, and the numerous stately mansions in Federal, Neo-classical and Greek Revival styles. Its atmospheric streets, flanked by oak trees draped in Spanish Moss, and its arts and crafts shops complete its romantic appeal. Seabrook, itself with a scenic riverside setting, is perfectly placed for making the most of a visit to this romantic city and the numerous islands that lie nearby with their beaches and wildlife.
