With meadows and dramatic forests encompassing this incredible two bedroom cabin, guests can enjoy direct access to Eastern Arizona’s stunning wilderness, near Alpine.The cabin exudes tranquillity and simplicity with its furnishings and atmosphere and is nestled on the Mogollon Rim in the eastern part of Arizona, a stone’s throw from the Colorado Trail. Furnished to quality standards, this cabin offers the comforts of home with two queen-size beds in each room and a set of twin beds, as well as a queen-size sofa in the living room. Guests can curl up on the sofa with a cup of coffee or unwind with a good book.The cabin also boasts an open fireplace for warmth during the colder months. The hosts provide comfort and luxury with stunning modern amenities and facilities, such as an on-site restaurant in the lodge, however, a rustic old-world charm is maintained throughout the getaway, with no cell service or televisions, for a truly unique outdoor experience. Guests can, however, stay connected with the Wi-Fi on the property. Glampers are welcome to take advantage of the lodge lobbies and sitting areas where they will find open fireplaces and wood burning stoves. All the log cabins are heated for comfort and warmth during winter, and each cabin features an equipped kitchen.
There is a restaurant located on the site which is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week. Guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet, which is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Glampers will also have lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Lastly, there is a 'Cowboy Cook Out' which takes place every Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm from Memorial day weekend to Labor day weekend. Guests can purchase bundles of wood on site. Furthermore, this property can accommodate weddings, in which all of the cabins or all of the lodge rooms can be rented out. Located in the Bush Valley of Arizona, this property offers a plethora of jaw-dropping wildlife and unlimited outdoor activities. Head to the Blue Vista Scenic Overlook and take in the views at an elevation of 4,000 feet above the valleys below. Here, guests can see the immaculate Mogollon Rim, as well as views of the Blue Range and other mountain peaks. Glampers can also head to the nearby Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, a paradise of nature in all seasons. This forest is home to over 400 species of fish and big game including elk, deer, antelope, and bear.
Along with sightseeing the natural wonders of this region, guests can also explore the surrounding area on horseback, go fishing at the Blue Fish Hatchery or, for the adventurous types, go mountain biking. Additionally, guests can take advantage of plenty of winter activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking. Kids can go sledding right on the property and families can enjoy the convenience of having plenty of snow trails right out their front door! The trails on the site are free of charge and, at an elevation of 9100 feet, offer fresh snow and one of the longest winter seasons in the state!
